Barry Winata is the Founder and Managing Partner of Metagrove Ventures. With 10+ years of experience across Silicon Valley and Australia, he has been actively involved in all aspects of the business and product lifecycle from technology leadership, engineering, and design, to product management, strategy, growth, and operations. Some of his notable gigs include the CSIRO (leading research institute of Australia), BAE Systems, Cochlear, Sensity Systems (acquired by Verizon), and Skylo Technologies (Softbank invested). Barry is highly connected with the startup and investment community across both the US and Australia. On the side, he hosts the Prompt Podcast and is also an active angel investor and startup advisor with investments across Australia, US, and Europe. Barry graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a BEng in Electrical Engineering (Honors) and a BBus in Finance and Economics (Distinction).

Gabriel Guedes co-founded Lyka, one of the fastest-growing consumer goods start-ups in ANZ, and currently leads its Operations. Previously, Gabriel was an Associate Partner at Bain & Company, an expert in the firm’s Transformation, Manufacturing & Supply Chain, and Metals & Mining practices. At Bain, Gabriel has led several large-scale Transformations, both commercial and operational, leading the implementation of programs ranging from US$100M to US$2B in delivered value, which involved setting up, training and managing large cross-functional multi-cultural teams. He was also a liaison between Bain and its ecosystem of Supply Chain start-up partnerships. Gabriel is a versatile leader with a strong bias to action, and who can meaningfully engage across all levels within an organisation, from the CEO to the frontline. Gabriel brings a diverse perspective and has worked across a broad range of geographies, in 20+ countries across six continents. He is also an angel investor and advisor connected to the start-up ecosystem. Gabriel is a Fellow at Afterwork Ventures and also sits on the advisory board of start-ups and non-for-profits.
Bond Leung Sudarta | Partner
Bond has expertise in Product, Growth & Strategic Partnership. He was also a co-founder of a number of companies over the years and has high empathy with early-stage founders. Previous to this, Bond was part of the founding Airbnb team where he built and headed up Airbnb for Work in Australia and New Zealand. Airbnb for Work was one of the fastest growing divisions within Airbnb with more than 700,000 corporate customers on its platform, which includes companies such as Salesforce, Morgan Stanley, and Google. Earlier to this, he started his career at Deloitte where he consulted for a number of large automotive brands, a category management role in Microsoft where he helped launch Windows 8 and a marketing & new products lead role at a robotics company called MAR.
Bond is also an active angel investor, is on the board of Liberty Society and a non-profit called Second Chance Initiative.
Originally from Sydney with deep roots in Indonesia and California, he is passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives and changing the world for the better.
