We’re a team of operators, founders, builders, and innovators who are on a journey to help invest in and support the next generation of entrepreneurs disrupting the future of industry.
We’re starting this journey across Australia, New Zealand, and the US (for now), then have ambitious plans to extend our reach around the world, with our next move into South-East Asia over the next few years.
Our Story So Far…
Our story begins in early 2021 when the idea of Metagrove was initially conceived. After spending nearly ten years living and working between Silicon Valley and Australia, we noticed that there was a noticeable gap between the two regions in terms of both technology creation & growth, as well as funding for early-stage companies.
Australia’s tech ecosystem is certainly on the upswing compared to just 10 years prior, however, it was still lacking in building out an efficient pipeline of technology companies who could not only thrive locally but who could also succeed on the world stage.
We are now focusing on building an innovation bridge between ANZ and the US to help foster innovation, collaboration, and expansion. In the next few years, we plan on expanding our presence in other regions — technology has no boundaries, so we shouldn’t have any either.
Here at Metagrove we’re excited about building these bridges, but also about the potential for a positive future using technology that can potentially move us to a more sustainable world.

The founders choose us, not the other way around.
We do not discriminate, judge, or have any preconceived notions about the founders or their company, and we evaluate every founder and opportunity with equal weighting.
We strive for a team that is diverse, bringing in different perspectives from industry, experience, and skillset. Every member of the team has the ability to voice their thoughts and opinions freely and without recourse.
